I am leaving in the original text I posted with new text following.
ORIGINAL TEXT: Still running behind. Even on a partial day off, there do not seem to be enough hours in the day.
In a conversation with my therapist, I admitted that the only putting pressure on me to maintain a feverish pace with this blog is me. I have not had a single comment from readers asking what gives with the incomplete posts or with falling behind. In fact, I may be the only who knows how many incomplete posts are on the blog now. (It's four, counting this one, and one I wanted to update, which would make five if I counted that fifth one as unfinished, and I don't.)
UPDATED AND FINISHED 1403.13: I have decided that some posts do not need a lot of text. Isn't it enough to see this cute shirt and see that I still have my Winnie the Pooh bear? This is actually the second Winnie the Pooh. If I get a chance, I may update with the original Pooh Bear from my childhood. This one was given to me by my first college girlfriend when I was 19, though she also sewed a shirt for the original as his original shirt was completely deteriorated.
I do not think that growing up and being an adult means that I cannot own a teddy bear or ten of them.
I also do not feel that I am less of a man for owning a bear.
The floor mats in my car feature HELLO KITTY.
I also carry a purse. I stopped calling it a "man bag" or a "man purse" years ago. It's a purse. No reason to be ashamed.
Feminism is just another way to say humanism.
HIATUS TEXT: I am taking a short hiatus. A "hiatus" for the 365 T-shirts Blog does not mean that there will not be shirts or that I will skip posting on any forthcoming day. There will be shirts. But the shirts will not be exciting or the featured shirts will not require me to write a small novel to properly generate the content I feel is sufficient. I created a category for my hiatus so as to group together those "easy" shirts that I consider to be "hiatus shirts." The goal of the hiatus is to fill in many blog days with easy shirts in order to complete longer love letters to beloved popular culture icons on more special shirts and to write more complex entries AHEAD OF TIME. The daily grind is becoming too much and causing me to fall behind and to be forced to post incomplete entries. I am hoping that a series of hiatus shirts will allow me to catch up, get ahead, and stay ahead. Ideally, I would like to be writing the bulk of each entry three days ahead while always working on at least one other. I have a lot of great shirts to share before the end of my blog year (after all I was just given SIXTEEN shirts for my birthday). Stay tuned. I promise to post the more interesting and longer T-shirt entries as I finish them. Thanks for reading. BTW, this is the standard HIATUS TEXT that I will include in every "hiatus shirt" entry.
