Welcome to Saturday.
For you, it's Saturday. For me, it's still Friday, and I am in the M&M Grill in Colon, Michigan using the free Wi Fi connection and killing time before the evening performance at the Fab MagiCelebration.
This is another of the many shirts I have from KUDL 2007. This one in yellow. It seemed like a good "day off" choice.

But now, after learning what I have learned here in Colon, the thing I really wanted to attend is next week. Clearing two days from the work and family schedules in two consecutive weeks may not be possible. But there is always next year, except for this lingering feeling that my "normal life" will come to an end on the 16th with the surgery, which is not true, but that's how I feel.
But you know, I am keeping this one short. Day off and all that.
Check back tomorrow for pictures from yesterday at the MagiCelebration and today on the bike ride.
Viva la "time off!!"
POSTSCRIPT: I am typing this last bit on Saturday, back home. Being in Colon yesterday was like stepping back in time. After driving home last night, things felt different. The same familiar places around my house and even my house itself felt different. The feeling is starting to fade, but it was still strongly in force this morning as if I had taken a trip back in time. My body returned from the past first, but my consciousness still remained in the past and is returning to the present more slowly.
